Nike SB Euro Series 2016 - Berlin Open: Day 2

The last and final stop of the Nike SB Euro Series 2016 was the Berlin Open which took place at the Nike SB Berlin Shelter on 8-10th July 2016. It was a three day event with lots of beer, fun and great weather.

First day was a launch of the freshly built Project DSS concrete skatepark with the help of Nike SB at the place of the old DIY spot. It was a great session for the first hour until the heavy storm flew over with tons of water and no place to hide.

Second day was more chill with beer session outside Nike SB shelter while locals and those in the main qualification had to sweat inside. It all finished at the Fox Track with the traditional race around it.

Third and the final day was the one for sunbathing and finals for those lucky riders who survived a million-round qualification on the previous day and got through. With Aurelien Giroud being injured at this point Vincent Milou was set to take the crown when he got through to the final. Ivan Monteiro who was 4th at the Barcelona AM & Gustavo Ribeiro who was 2nd at the Barcelona Am & 4th in London got to the final as well. In the end Vincent got injured during his run and Ivan beat Gustavo to take the overall Nike SB Euro Series 2016 crown. Max Kruglov won the best trick with the hardflip to bs noseblunt on the hubba.
