Nike SB 'Berlin Open' was the closing event of the Nike SB European Series for amateur skateboarders. The winners of the previous stops in Barcelona and London along with the invited and Berlin local riders were competing to get the overall series win.

The event was split into two days with qualification rounds for locals on the first day and the main event on the second. It was hard to predict who was going to take a win especially when riders like Yoshi Tanenbaum, Carlos Ribeiro and most part of the Nike SB European team were present.
Unfortunately Yoshi got injured in the early stages, so the win was pretty much up for grabs for anyone at the top of their game. In the end it was between Kevin Baekkel, Aurelien Giraud and Carlos Ribeiro to decide who was going to take it. So Aurelien Giraud went big and sealed the win with a massive hardflip off the vert ramp. Neverton Casella took the best trick.
